The Banford Bleachworks 2006

The buildings are now in an extreme state of disrepair. There has been an on-going discussion about redevelopment of the site. This may be the last time we see the mill in this form.

The redevelopment is generally seen as a positive thing being a re-generation of the area.

The row of cottages opposite the old mill are still lived in.

Part of the mill has been converted into a studio for the Tullylish Pottery which produces a range of individually crafted pieces, with continually evolving designs.

They have been jointly awarded the Ledu Craftperson of the Year Award and have held numerous exhibitions in their own gallery in Tullylish and in Belfast and Dundrum.
